Fort Lauderdale
After San Francisco we flew to Miami. From there we went on to Fort Lauderdale so that She could attend the 2001 ARVO conference.
I went along too, because Fort Lauderdale has a shopping mall, a very nice restaurant called BeniHana and scope for very long walks (Public Transport? What's that?). I learnt a few things, found some of the research interesting, and she presented work that formed part of her PhD.
